By Aaron Whitfield: This used to be my church building back in the day. I was a warden here for several years and its heart breaking to see what the housing sector that bought it have let happen to it. Buildings with such charactor should be preserved and not just left to decay. I guess the buildings charactor does not fit with the image of a new Beswick the council are trying to portray. I think that they are letting it fall down as they don't want to do it up. It's a shame that they promised it would be turned into housing, Liers. I am glad that the homeless have managed to use the building as a church should be a home for all and they were the only ones close to knowing gods will.
Thanks for showing and sharing this picture. Makes me very Nostalgic.
